International Peacemakers Discussion
Come and be engaged by David Andrews and Yody Moran, International Peacemakers from Peru who are part of the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program. Mr. Andrews and Ms. Moran have been involved in social justice in Peru and work with Joining Hands Against Hunger. They will be speaking about the history of political violence in Peru between 1980 and 2000, the fair trade group of artisans which Ms. Moran helped start, and poverty and the Peruvian foreign debt crisis. St. Luke's Presbyterian Church in Wayzata is hosting Mr. Andrews and Ms. Moran during their week long visit and we are honored to have them come to Valley to share their story with us.
