It's 2008 and the effects of the
devastation of Katrina still linger and continue to loom large for the
entire Gulf Coast area. The Presbyterian Church's Disaster Assistance
has been helping to re-build and restore the Gulf Coast to some
semblance of order. Valley has helped in that work with donations of
time, money, products, and prayers. But more still needs to be done.
Wednesdays during Lent will be an opportunity for you to fill the Katrina Cup with your donations. It will be an open offering that will go to help continue the re-building of the Gulf Coast. As your life has been filled with goodness, advantage, blessings and love, do your best to help us fill the Katrina Cup to the brim!
