Valley Mission

Mission

Valley has a long tradition of mission and outreach, both in monetary and hands-on involvement as we follow this commitment of belief that:

Mission is an expression of service to humanity, accomplished in Valley Community Presbyterian Church through worship, study, fellowship and service, so that we all might live together in peace - in God's wholeness.

The Mission Possible Team is called to strengthen Valley's historic commitment to mission involvement and support and to bring Valley's mission statement alive by:

Serving community with concern for the world
Supporting just and peaceful living

We do this through a set of guidelines for promotion of mission projects and through congregation-wide involvement by investing our resources of time, energy, advocacy and money, based around two areas: services to and for children and families and affordable housing.
