Junior High Mystery Tour

This fall we are exploring some of the best that the Twin Cities has to offer, at least according to junior highers. We will leave Valley at 11:15 after our Sunday Morning Fellowship time. Our final stop will be at the Bigwood House for brats and burgers.
Again this year we are inviting our parents to join us for dinner. Last year we did this and they had such a great time talking with each other and getting to know each other better. The youth will play Predator Prey in our backyard while the adults get a chance to talk.
Cardboard Box City Event

to 6:00AM
PLAN NOW to spend one night in a cardboard box to raise money and awareness to help knock out family homelessness in Minnesota. Last year Valley sent six youth to sleep overnight at the Minnesota State Fair grounds in cardboard boxes. Participants learn more about the causes of homelessness, get their dinner from a food line, experience the wonderful ministry of the drum group Sheltered Reality, and Rock with our very own Rockin' Rev. Richard.
The event is sponsored by Families Moving Forward, an agency that Valley actively supports with donations of time, resources, and money. It's a great time! Be sure to sign up with our youth director to experience this evening.

Junior High Mission Trip Planning Meeting

Youth Group
This is a special day we set aside every year to choose where to go on our mission trip. As a junior high youth group we stay within our Synod, The Synod of Lakes and Prairies. Ballots will be available later this fall.
We pray that all of our events take place without incident, but we prepare for emergencies. If you have yet to provide our Youth Director, Sarah with an emergency medical information form, please complete one and mail it to the office.
