Worship: Sundays 9:00am & 10:30am

The Valley Community Garden began in 2010 as a way to put our available land space to good use and to grow fresh vegetables. Along the way, we have also grown new friendships, introduced children to the garden, and enjoyed working in the beauty and bounty of God's earth. Community Gardeners hold a potluck meals at Valley each month during the garden season for fellowship, a meal and of course, some weeding.

Half of our plots are set aside for non-members. Interested in gardening with us? We offer plots of various sizes to fit your gardening needs. If you would like to reserve some garden space, or you have a neighbor who is interested in garden space with us, please contact Sheila Sheldon at This email address is being protected from spambots. Valley Community Garden Vision Statement

We invite the Valley family and the broader community to investigate, and over time implement, alternative land uses for surplus areas not currently needed for building or programs, encouraging positive fellowship and faith building activities. These plans include, but are not limited to: a casual outdoor gathering space, garden plots and opportunities for the Valley community and neighbors to meet, teach and build relationships. We believe this will enhance the ability to work in good faith, trust and promote spiritual growth and communal connections, while making room for the Holy Spirit to guide, nurture and strengthen our community.
