Elder & Deacon Elections

The Valley Community Garden began in 2010 as a way to put our available land space to good use and to grow fresh vegetables. Along the way, we have also grown new friendships, introduced children to the garden, and enjoyed working in the beauty and bounty of God's earth. Community Gardeners hold a potluck meals at Valley each month during the garden season for fellowship, a meal and of course, some weeding.

Half of our plots are set aside for non-members. Interested in gardening with us? We offer plots of various sizes to fit your gardening needs. If you would like to reserve some garden space, or you have a neighbor who is interested in garden space with us, please contact Sheila Sheldon at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We would love to have you join us!

All are welcome to take part in the Community Garden Potlucks held throughout the growing season each year. You do not need to have a plot in the garden -- just a green thumb and an interest in fresh food, fun and fellowship. 2019 potluck dates can be found on the church calendar and in the monthly newsletter, The Garden Gazette.
