Northern Lights String Quartet

The Northern Lights String Quartet has been in existence since 1997. As music educators for numerous years, the quartet has specialized in school programs and formal recitals. We have been coached by the Cavani String Quartet, the Pacifica String Quartet, various members of the MN Orchestra and attended a Chamber Music Program given by Midori. Our members are Kathryn Christie (violin), Carolyn Liptak (violin), Stella Anderson (viola), and David Holmes (cello). The Northern Lights String Quartet musicians are also performing artists for Thursday Musical. We are delighted to be a part of Fridays in the Valley.
