75th Anniversary Celebration

VCPC was officially organized as a congregation on May 20, 1951 when Golden Valley and the surrounding suburbs were first growing in the post-war building boom. VCPC began with a mission to serve all members of our congregation and community, while keeping our hearts open to the world at large, and has remained committed to that mission ever since.

To mark this historic milestone, VCPC has planned a series of events under the theme “Honoring our History, Celebrating the Future”. VCPC’s 75th Anniversary Celebration will feature a joyful worship service with special guests, an all-church picnic with delicious food and fun for all ages, and lots of other fun surprises. We hope you will join us!

The celebration will be held on Sunday, June 7, including:

• 9:15 AM: A Special 75th Anniversary Service featuring special guests and exciting musical performances by old Valley friends.
• 11:00 AM: A celebratory Potluck Picnic immediately following the service.
• 11:30 AM: A dedication of a 75th Anniversary Commemorative Tree, face-painting, bounce house, and fun for all ages.
