Hate Has No Home Here Series

Speakers from the Islamic Resource Group will provide a presentation and discussion educating the public about Islam and the Muslim community. Part of the presentation will also explore the significant increase of Islamophobia in the United States and the direct impact it has specifically on local Muslim communities. This is the second in a series of the City of Golden Valley’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commission’s (DEIC) sessions to raise community awareness regarding bias and hate as expressed in the United States. Future sessions will cover other forms of hate and bias including, but not limited to, transphobia and the “othering” of various communities. All are welcome to this free event!
