Mission Possible

Called by God to be part of Christ's presence in our community

Our Mission Possible Peace and Justice team leads us in this work as we partner with local and regional organizations whose justice efforts focus on hunger, housing, education, and children.

A Community of Care

Valley is a Matthew 25 congregation, called by God to be part of Christ’s presence in our community; using our hands and feet while working and walking alongside others to bring peace into our midst by doing justice.

Being part of mission in the Valley means being part of a community that not only cares & connects but takes action. When a member of this community sees a need that should be addressed, but it is too big for any individual, they know there is Valley. A community of care exists, formed by people who have decided that it will be known by what it does for others. This community is one that does not believe it does enough. What it asks is, "What's next?" Blessed and ready, Valley pays it forward.

While we focus on supporting effective safety net programs, we join our partners such as PRISM in the intention of “taking action today, tomorrow, and the next day, until the individually-funded safety net is no longer needed, and our systems ensure that all people have their basic needs met.”

Meet Our Partners

Mission Partners

Bringing peace into our midst through justice and service.

Valley Community partners with local and regional organizations who focus efforts on hunger, housing, education, and children — areas where we feel called by God to be present in our community. Valley's support is dependent on the needs of our partner, but can include volunteers and financial contributions.

PRISM
