Rev. Dr. Alika Galloway will share updates about Liberty Community Church's most recent project: Homeplace. She'll also gives us updates on 21st century program, Northside Healing Space and other projects in the community. Come learn how you can support their work and vital ministries in North Minneapolis and beyond.

Valley is hosting a Respectful Conversation in collaboration with the Minnesota Council of Churches. The Respectful Conversations Project is a program of the Minnesota Council of Churches designed to strengthen civic life in Minnesota. Congregations throughout Minnesota, like Valley Community Presbyterian Church, have hosted conversations that explore issues through the lens of deeply held convictions while maintaining, even enhancing, relationships among those who disagree. We are hosting a Thanksgiving Potluck for those looking for a place to gather for the holiday. Come to Valley, share a delicious meal & gratitude for our Valley family. There is a sheet in Fellowship Hall to sign up for what you will bring and how many from your family will be joining you. You can also call the Valley Office to get signed up.

The Advent season begins in a couple of weeks. Sheila Sheldon will lead us in worship on the First Sunday of Advent and we will all work together to hang the greens following worship. Come help us get the Valley ready for the season.
