Saving the planet is everyone’s problem. And everyone can be part of the solution. Valley members Sam and Jon Schellhaas will discuss ways we can treat the planet better--from decisions to replace large appliances, to entertaining guests, to what we wear. We can make the world better every day!

Youth in grades 4th -12th are invited to participate in our Youth Programs on Sunday afternoons. Contact Sheila or Mariah in the Valley Office to learn more.

We are in need of more volunteers to deliver meals on the 3rd and 4th Thursday of every month starting at 10:00 AM. For more information and to get signed up to drive, contact Gail Smith [3rd Thur] and Marge Thurston [4th Thur]. Use your directory or call the office.

We are hosting a Thanksgiving Potluck for those looking for a place to gather for the holiday. Come to Valley, share a delicious meal & gratitude for our Valley family. There is a sheet in Fellowship Hall to sign up for what you will bring and how many from your family will be joining you. You can also call the Valley Office to get signed up.

The Advent season begins in a couple of weeks. Sheila Sheldon will lead us in worship on the First Sunday of Advent and we will all work together to hang the greens following worship. Come help us get the Valley ready for the season.

Join us during worship on Sunday, December 8 at 9:30 AM to see our Valey kids and youth tell the Christmas story as only kids can.

We will be joining together on December 8th at 5:30 pm for socializing followed by dinner and a holiday music performance by Sur Ruby. Tickets are available in the Fellowship Hall: $20 for adults and $10 for kids. Dinner will be catered with vegetarian/pant-based and kids options available.

Join us for the December Fridays in the Valley concert benefitting PRISM Holiday Toy Shoppe. The Above Average Tuba Quartet was formed by members of the Lake Wobegon© Brass Band in 2013 in response to Vicki Wheeler’s observation that Fridays in the Valley really needed to present a tuba ensemble. Tubas, especially through the Internationally known Tuba Christmas program, have brought joy and inspiration to millions during the holiday season. We’re proud to continue the tradition over the years. Since its beginning in Golden Valley, the AATQ has grown into a group that also plays many times each year in concert, at schools and festivals, and of course at beer halls.

Let's praise the Lord with singing! Join us for a worship service filled with music in many styles to celebrate the Advent season.

The holidays are a time to celebrate and think back fondly on years past, which can be both heartwarming and difficult for those who have lost loved ones. For that reason, Valley will be holding a Longest Night service on Wednesday, December 18th at 7:00pm. It will be a service of music and scripture as we remember those we love and name the mixed emotions that come with the season.
