It's the time of year where we are all asked to prayerfully support the ministries that have sustained us and show gratitude for the many things our Valley family does, both in the church and in the community. / PLEDGE DEDICATION SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH

Please join us for Trunk or Treat tonight from 4:00 - 5:00 PM! Bring friends, family, and neighbors - all are welcome!

A community event with a cause! Hosted by Valley Youth. Come to Valley, trick or treat in the parking lot, listen to music, and see your friends and neighbors! Bring pantry items for PRISM and help us fill the trailer with donations. Call, email or talk to Mariah Messer (mariah.messer@valleychurch.net) if you would like to decorate your car for the event!

Time to get the church grounds cleaned up before the snow comes! Grab your rake and work gloves, we'll provide the wheelbarrows and yard waste bags. Hard work is more fun with friends! Hope to see you there.

Every year, a group of Valley volunteers get together to assemble about a dozen dressers for our partner organization Bridging. The dressers then go to folk who are transitioning out of homelessness. All skill levels are welcome! Sign up in the Fellowship Hall and reach out to Andrew Pitan with questions.

Spend the day crafting without distractions! Come catch up on a project, start something new or check out what others are working on for inspiration! There will be make and take crafts available. If crafting isn’t your thing, come for the fellowship or bring a book to catch up on your reading. / Bring a dish to share for lunch at 12 PM. / Sign up in the Fellowship Hall.

Our next brew will be Saturday, November 16th from 1-6pm at The Goslinga’s house (consult your directory for the address or call the Valley Office). Come hang out with Valley friends and try some Blue Ribbon-winning craft beverages! / Have an appetizer or side dish recipe you need to test out? We make great guinea pigs! Bring along something to throw on the grill and/or a side/appetizer to share. / Beverages of all kinds available / Kids Always Welcome / Hope to see you then!

Valley is hosting a Respectful Conversation in collaboration with the Minnesota Council of Churches. The Respectful Conversations Project is a program of the Minnesota Council of Churches designed to strengthen civic life in Minnesota. Congregations throughout Minnesota, like Valley Community Presbyterian Church, have hosted conversations that explore issues through the lens of deeply held convictions while maintaining, even enhancing, relationships among those who disagree.
