Every 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 10:00 - 11:30 AM, Valley volunteers deliver meals to community members through the Community Emergency Assistance Program (CEAP) Meals on Wheels program. If you are able to volunteer, contact the Valley office!

We will be coming together on December 7th at 5:30 pm for socializing followed by delicious catered dinner and a Fridays in the Valley concert to follow - The Above Average Tuba Quartet Christmas Show! Sign up for the Dinner in the Fellowship Hall: $25 adults | Kids 10 & Under FREE | Family Max $60 (parents/kids). Vegetarian/plant-based and kids options available.

Join us for the December Fridays in the Valley concert benefitting PRISM Holiday Toy Shoppe. The Above Average Tuba Quartet was formed by members of the Lake Wobegon© Brass Band in 2013 in response to Vicki Wheeler’s observation that Fridays in the Valley really needed to present a tuba ensemble. Tubas, especially through the Internationally known Tuba Christmas program, have brought joy and inspiration to millions during the holiday season. We’re proud to continue the tradition over the years. Since its beginning in Golden Valley, the AATQ has grown into a group that also plays many times each year in concert, at schools and festivals, and of course at beer halls.

A Meet & Greet with the candidate and his family will be held on Saturday, December 13th from 4:30 - 6:00 PM. Come to Valley to meet the candidate while we enjoy some light refreshments and fellowship together. Meet & Greet will be held in the Cornerstone Room. | Please note that the PRISM Holiday Toy Shoppe will be wrapping up during this time. Attendees are encouraged to enter using the upstairs doors.

Join us during worship on Sunday, December 14 at 9:30 AM to see our Valley kids and youth tell the Christmas story as only kids can.

Let's praise the Lord with singing! Join us for a worship service filled with music in many styles to celebrate the Advent season.

The holidays are a time to celebrate and think back fondly on years past, which can be both heartwarming and difficult for those who have lost loved ones. For that reason, Valley will be holding a Longest Night service on Wednesday, December 18th at 7:00pm. It will be a service of music and scripture as we remember those we love and name the mixed emotions that come with the season. A light dinner will be served following the service.

4:30 PM - Christmas Eve Family Service (music starts at 4:15 pm); 9:30 PM - Christmas Eve Candlelight Service with communion

Join us for a potluck brunch following worship on December 28th (Jim's Last Sunday) to celebrate Pastor Jim's time with us at Valley and his dedicated care and leadership of our community. RSVPs are not necessary, but please sign up in the Fellowship Hall if you would like to bring something to contribute to the potluck!
