She is also a Water Protector who upholds the traditions of her relative, Háza Íŋyaŋke Wiŋ (Woman Who Runs for Huckleberries or Betsey St. Clair). During the walk, Tanaǧidaŋ To Wiŋ will share about her family’s history and her connections with native plants and local waterways. Let’s get together for a mid-summer check-in with Valley friends! Bring a side or dessert to share and we’ll provide the hot dogs & brats. Valley has outdoor games like Connect 4, Giant Jenga, and cornhole, but feel free to bring along your favorite game.

Strat-o-Matic baseball has been around for decades and is great for all baseball fans aged 8-108. Brian Hole has offered to host this game day. He will bring all game materials, teach how the game works, and go over some basics on keeping scorebook at a baseball game. After going over the game, folks can pick teams and play games against each other or on their own solitaire. | Don’t worry! The Twins play at 1:00 pm and it will be on in the background. | Please bring a side dish, salad, snack, or dessert to share!

It's time for a summer golf outing at Brightwood Hills Golf Course in New Brighton (1975 Silver Lake Rd NW, New Brighton, MN 55112)! Join Valley friends of all ages for an afternoon of golfing followed by a pizza dinner! | Tee times start at 3:00 PM. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome, and non-golfers should also attend to cheer on the putters! After having some fun on the green, we'll head to Adagio's Pizza Factory (2052 Silver Lake Rd., New Brighton) for dinner sponsored by Family Ministries. | TICKETS: $20 for Adults, $15 for Kids 12 & Under | Tickets include golfing and dinner. A portion of each ticket supports the Youth Education Scholarship (Y.E.S.) Fund | Sign up in the Fellowship Hall or contact the Valley Office to sign up.
