"Journey south into the heart of the civil rights movement to gain a deeper understanding of the historic and continued struggle for racial equality in the United States." These words, describing the Road Scholar Civil Rights Tour, struck a chord. Valley member Janet T. decided to take the tour in March 2025. She experienced where Dr. Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks and John Lewis brought peaceful protests against racial discrimination and violence to the attention of the entire country in the early '60s.

Youth in grades 4th -12th are invited to participate in our Youth Programs on Sunday afternoons. Contact Sheila or Mariah in the Valley Office to learn more.

Every 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 10:00 - 11:30 AM, Valley volunteers deliver meals to community members through the Community Emergency Assistance Program (CEAP) Meals on Wheels program. If you are able to volunteer, contact the Valley office!

Craft & Connect is for anyone who enjoys a day crafting, working on a puzzle or just chatting with friends. This month we invite you to bring your young crafters with you! We’ll have a fun craft just for them. / So, catch up on a project, start something new or come see what others are working on for inspiration! There will be craft supplies, puzzles & cribbage boards available. Come for the fellowship and stay for the fun! / Bring a dish to share for lunch at 12 PM.

We are hosting a Thanksgiving Potluck for those looking for a place to gather for the holiday. Come to Valley, share a delicious meal & gratitude for our Valley family. There is a sheet in Fellowship Hall to sign up for what you will bring and how many from your family will be joining you. You can also call the Valley Office to get signed up.

The Advent season begins in a couple of weeks. Rev. Jim Cochrane will lead us in worship on the First Sunday of Advent and we will all work together to hang the greens following worship. Come help us get the Valley ready for the season.

We will be coming together on December 7th at 5:30 pm for socializing followed by delicious catered dinner and a Fridays in the Valley concert to follow - The Above Average Tuba Quartet Christmas Show! Sign up for the Dinner in the Fellowship Hall: $25 adults | Kids 10 & Under FREE | Family Max $60 (parents/kids). Vegetarian/plant-based and kids options available.
