Fridays in the Valley Presents – Pavel Jany & Dean Harrington on Friday, Novemeber 13, 2026

Join us for the classical guitar duo of Pavel Jany and Dean Harrington! Pavel Jany’s classical guitar and compositional background spans many musical genres. His style is influenced by the East European Gypsy music of his native Czechoslovakia as well as the works of jazz fusion guitarists. Dean Harrington has been playing and teaching guitar for more than 25 years. With a Bachelor or Music in Classical Guitar Performance from the Univ of MN, Dean still plays classical guitar. But these days he mostly performs music in the jazz genre with his many Twin Cities ensembles. Pavel and Dean frequently collaborate throughout the Twin Cities, playing together in such venues as MetroNOME Brewery in Fingal’s Cave, St. Paul, the Loring Pasta Bar and Carbone’s in Minneapolis. Free will offering will benefit Clare Housing.
